Randomness II
- Remember awhile ago when I mentioned that I’d thought my iPod was stolen? Turns out I was wrong. It was simply jealous and hiding. After confiding to the wife that I wasn’t planning on getting the iPhone after all, it came out of hiding and let me find it. We’ve had a good time catching up with each other.
- I’m in decrapify mode at home. I’ve started going through the house, donating or throwing away stuff we don’t use any more. I started in the cedar closet and am slowly working my way throughout the house. I put out 6 full bags of clothes at the curb for some charity this morning. Next up; all the computer crap I don’t use anymore (zip drive anyone?). Have to wait until September for the county recycle program though.
- Went and saw Cody’s guitar teacher and his band, Sixth Sun, Saturday night. Got totally lost while driving downtown to see them, but eventually found our way. The place the concert was held was called Sangha, and was what I’d describe as ‘New Age’ type of store. The music was very enjoyable, and I was impressed with how well they sounded. Gail was impressed with the store’s crystal collection and walked out with a 20lbs crystal. No, I didn’t ask what it cost. We’re calling it a Christmas present.
- Sunburned my head this past weekend. Now I’m peeling. It’s one thing when your arms or back are peeling, you can kind of cover those up. My head? Not so much. Sure, I could wear a hat, but not while at work. Business Casual means no hats. I’ve been applying liberal amounts of lotion.
- I read somewhere that all but 4% of the US will visit a McDonald’s at least once this year. I have vowed to be part of that 4% and starting from July, will not visit a McDonald’s.
- WestCiv came out with a cool tool to see the box model on any page, called XRay.
- I leave you with a video of a puppy vs. kitten. Too damn cute. In a bad mood? Watch the video.

I’m in much the same mode at home as well. Got a sudden burst of motivation. Hopefully it will last awhile this time…
